The Reading Clinic is a not-for-profit, registered charity, founded to help students who have a specific language-based learning difference (dyslexia).

We also provide assessment, family consultations, teacher training and public awareness/education on dyslexia and learning differences in general. We provide specialised tutoring for children with math learning differences, and an early intervention/pre-literacy programme in four Government preschools.

We want all children who need our help to have access to our services, regardless of their financial situation. To this end, we raise money to provide bursaries for testing and tutoring for those in financial need.



Math Tutor Training

Our upcoming ICAN Math Tutor Training Course starts February 26th and will run on Monday evenings from 5:30-8:00pm until April 30th.  This course is for math teachers (currently working or retired) who are interested in becoming tutors at The Reading Clinic.  The cost is only $250.00 for the entire course and registration deadline is February 5th.  Contact Juliet Pearman at for more details.
