The Reading Clinic is a not-for-profit, registered charity, founded to help students who have a specific language-based learning difference (dyslexia).
We also provide assessment, family consultations, teacher training and public awareness/education on dyslexia and learning differences in general. We provide specialised tutoring for children with math learning differences, and an early intervention/pre-literacy programme in four Government preschools.
We want all children who need our help to have access to our services, regardless of their financial situation. To this end, we raise money to provide bursaries for testing and tutoring for those in financial need.
In Grateful Memory of:
Our Founder, Mrs Elizabeth M Kitson, MBE, MA
December 18th 1918 - May 16th, 2019
By her work with The Reading Clinic, Mrs Kitson has left a legacy that is not only hers, but belongs to all of Bermuda.
We are proud to carry on that legacy and provide vital educational services to Bermuda’s children who learn differently, thereby providing them with the tools to grow their potential and to reach the highest level of success.
